Laboratory Testing of Water Samples

Microbiological testing in drinking water is carried out to determine the presence of bacteria in drinking water sources. SES are delighted to announce that this has been added to our list of services and can now be offered to our customers ranging from the private sector while also servicing industries such as construction, manufacturing, local authorities, and group water schemes and many other businesses.

The presence of bacteria in water sources can lead to severe illnesses and poor health conditions. The HSE and the EPA advise that private wells are tested at least annually / after flooding / very heavy rainfall, for the presence of E.coli, Coliforms, Clostridium and Enterococci bacteria in order to ensure the water source is safe for consumption.

Combining our expertise in the water industry our technicians are trained to ensure water samples are captured carefully using the correct procedure to avoid any cross contamination, this guarantees that the quality of the sample is not directly or in-directly impacted therefore, providing confidence in the results produced.

Laboratory Results

Results of the laboratory testing can be supplied via email within a minimum of 5 working days depending on the parameters which need to be tested.
